Dr. Edward T. Himeno was a child psychiatrist at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, California. Dr. Himeno served as the Director of the Child Psychiatry Division, and Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Loma Lina University School of Medicine.

Prior to his work at Loma Linda, Dr. Edward T. Himeno worked at the Los Angeles County General Hospital (in Los Angeles).  There, he served as “director of the psychiatric clinic for mentally retarded children” and “director of psychiatric services in the department of pediatrics.”

Dr. Himeno may have also served as the director of the Riverside County Health Department’s Child Psychiatry Inpatient and Family Treatment Center (in Riverside, California).

Dr. Himeno may have also served on the board of directors for the MERCI, Inc. School in Monterey Park, California.  (MERCI, Inc was an acronym for “Mentally and Emotionally Retarded Children, Inc.)
