ENID — An Enid woman, 46, was arraigned Thursday on a felony charge accusing her of sending sexual pictures and videos of herself to two teens last year.

Jennifer J. Hemstreet was charged last week with a single count of soliciting sexual conduct or communication with a minor by use of technology. The crime is punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment and/or a fine of up to $10,000.

Hemstreet appeared Thursday before Special District Judge Brian Lovell for arraignment on the charge. She was ordered to return to court June 12 for a bond appearance.

According to an affidavit filed in the case by Enid Police Department Det. Nicholas Shackleford, he received a report made to Officer Shawn Aebi on Oct. 28.

The report was made by a counselor who told Aebi she had information about a possible sex offense involving two juvenile males, according to the affidavit. The counselor said a client had disclosed hearing rumors about an adult female sending naked photos to underage boys at school in Enid.

The counselor said the two boys involved were 17 and 15 years old, according to the affidavit. The counselor said the woman involved was Hemstreet.

Shackleford interviewed the 17-year-old boy, along with his mother.

The teen said Hemstreet sent him two sexual photographs through Snapchat, according to the affidavit. He also said they were sent on two occasions.

Shackleford then interviewed the 15-year-old boy and his mother.

The 15-year-old said Hemstreet sent him three sexual photographs and two masturbation videos through Snapchat, according to the affidavit. He said this also occurred on two occasions.

According to the affidavit, the photographs were distributed via Snapchat and the two boys received them at the same time.

Shackleford spoke with an 18-year-old friend of both boys.

He said he was talking to the 17-year-old and he said Hemstreet sent him a nude photograph through Snapchat, according to the affidavit. The friend said he was at the 17-year-old’s house and witnessed Hemstreet sending a nude photograph via the app.
