Branden Helms Article from The Oregonian.

A Sunset High School track coach was arrested and accused of luring a 16-year-old girl and having a relationship with her.

Branden Michael Helms, 25, was arrested by Beaverton Police on Tuesday. Police say he lured his victim while in a coaching position and had a sexual relationship with her for two months

Police began investigating the alleged relationship June 26.

A Washington County grand jury indicted Helms on two counts of luring a minor and four counts of sexual abuse in the second degree.

Helms is at the Washington County Jail.

Police are asking anyone with more information about the case to call 503-629-0111 and ask to speak with a detective.
