The story of sexual abuse in Spokane by four boy scout leaders, including South Hill businessman George Robey, is a chilling tale of when pedophiles team up to gain access to kids and to cover up their abuses.

He worked with his friend and fellow scout leader Fr. Patrick O’Donnell to wreak terror into the hearts of the boys left in his care. In fact, several of the boys who were abused by this ring of pedophiles committed suicide.

George Robey was a scout leader for Troop 353 and killed himself in 1982 when sexual abuse allegations arose about former Catholic priest Patrick O’Donnell.
