Teacher Andrea Cardosa Gets Outted on Youtube Video for Sexual Abuse of Young Girl

A school administrator who was called out in a Youtube video by a 28 year-old woman for the sexual abuse she subjected the younger woman to while she was a child has been arrested.

Andrea Michelle Cardosa, a 40 year-old Assistant Principal for Alhambra Unified School District, resigned after the allegations aired on Youtube.  According to KTLA News in Los Angeles, Cardosa was charged with 16 felony counts of sexually abusing two girls (including the one who made the video) while she was a teacher in Riverside County.

With two women coming already forward to tell people about the abuses they suffered at the hands of Cardosa, it seems plausible that there will be more that come forward.

“We give victims the support they need to stand up and speak the truth to some of the largest and most revered institutions in the world. These survivors are the ones putting a stop to patterns of abuse and cover-up. They are the ones protecting the next generations. They are the heroes. I am honored to work with them”
