Jailed Doctor Pleads Guilty to More Sex Abuse Charges

A Pennsylvania doctor who had served as a Boy Scout troop leader and is already serving a 6 to 15 year sentence for molesting a teen Boy Scout has now pleaded guilty to molesting two boys at Summit Academy. Dr. David Evanko has been sentenced to 5 ½ to 14 ½ more years in prison for the Summit Academy abuse cases. The new sentence will run concurrently with the prior sexual abuse sentence. At the time, Dr. Evanko abused the boys at Summit Academy he was serving as a medical consultant to the academy. The Summit Academy abuse criminal charges stem from abuse that occurred in 2009.
