Corvallis Orthodox Priest Known as “Father Isidore” Arrested on Child Pornography Charges
Ariel Ramira on April 18, 2014 An Orthodox priest who had been recently serving at Saint Anne Orthodox Church in Corvallis, Oregon was arrested Thursday morning on “numerous counts” of sexual abuse of children.
According to an article in the Oregonian today, the 39 year-old Father Isidore, whose real name is Stanley Brittain, apparently set off red flags for investigators from the ICAC, or Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, a division of the Oregon Department of Justice. They in turn alerted Albany law enforcement.
Albany Police Department officers found child pornography as a result of executing a search warrant at his home, and the priest is being held in the Linn County Jail.
