Already facing five felony counts of the sexual exploitation of a minor, former Boy Scout leader Kenneth William Prince was arrested again on October 21, 2013 regarding two counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child.

The latest arrest is a result of alleged sexual abuse that occurred a few years ago.  After the first arrest in September 2013, eight other sexual abuse victims contacted police and law enforcement authorities are urging any other victims to contact them at 801-629-8221.

According to KSL, a local media outlet, “The investigation came to light after a man reported to police he had been molested by Prince more than a decade ago. A subsequent search of Prince’s home by police uncovered a laptop with sexually explicit photos of young boys.  Prince taught at South Ogden Junior High School from 1979 until 2008. He retired at the end of the 2008 school year, just a month after being arrested by Salt Lake City police when members of the vice squad found him committing a lewd act at a gym, according to a Salt Lake police report.  Prince pleaded guilty to committing an obscene act, and the case was dismissed in 2010 as part of his plea in abeyance.  Prince was also a longtime Scout leader in the South Ogden area, according to police.”

YOU ARE NOT ALONE

Empowering Change

“We give victims the support they need to stand up and speak the truth to some of the largest and most revered institutions in the world. These survivors are the ones putting a stop to patterns of abuse and cover-up. They are the ones protecting the next generations. They are the heroes. I am honored to work with them”
