Tierra Blanca Police Raid Highlights the Problems with Boarding Schools for Troubled Youths

After a recent police raid on Tierra Blanca Ranch, a “tough love” ranch in New Mexico, we were reminded of the similar horrors and abuse faced by students at the Mount Bachelor Academy in Prineville, Oregon.

Now closed, the MBA used similarly harsh to downright ridiculous methods as the allegations against the operators of the New Mexico ranch.
