Jeffrey McAllister, Former Portland Nurse, Faces More Sex Abuse Charges
Former Legacy Emanuel Hospital nurse Jeffrey McAllister plead not guilty to a 13-count indictment involving a fourth victim he allegedly sexually abused in the hospital’s emergency room.
McAllister was originally arrested on July 10th on an 11-count indictment which charged him with rape and sodomy of hospital patients.
According to Oregonlive.com, “The latest charges resulted from a complaint made to police in April, prompting a full investigation into McAllister and into complaints from other alleged victims that were made earlier. The new charges increased McAllister’s bail to $2.7 million.McAllister’s lawyer requested a jury trial, tentatively set for Aug. 23.”
